Returning for its 118th year at Olympia London from 10-19 April, the Ideal Home Show 2026 places entertaining, connection and lifestyle at its core, reflecting how homes are increasingly being shaped around socialising, flexibility and everyday living.
From social kitchens, alfresco dining and the BBQ Academy to lighting, layout and décor upgrades, feature areas are designed to help visitors create more welcoming, multi-functional spaces that support today’s hosting habits.
Giles Perry, Ideal Home Show Director, said:
“Hosting at home has taken on a new meaning. People want spaces that feel welcoming, flexible and personal, places where friends and family can really connect. With UK households adapting their homes in response to changing social habits and economic pressures, this year’s programme is helping
them create homes that are ready for entertaining, while also making smarter choices, whatever their budget or plans”.
Hands‑on experiences sit at the heart of this year’s show, with tablescaping taking centre stage as a headline workshop, reflecting the continued rise of at‑home hosting. Visitors can also take part in immersive sessions, from creative wreath making sessions to food and drink experiences, including cocktail-making workshops.
Throughout the show, celebrity experts and industry specialists including George Clarke, Scarlette and Stuart Douglas, Jason Bradbury, David Domoney, Megan McKenna, Briony Ace, David Domoney and Matt Tebbutt, will provide trusted advice, supporting visitors with everything from refreshing their current spaces to planning future moves.
