Leading hinge manufacturer SIMONSWERK will again be exhibiting at this year’s 100% Design Exhibition, showcasing the latest developments in its comprehensive hinge portfolio including a new fire-rated hinge and a range of products with a new PVD corrosive resistant finish.
This is the sixth time that SIMONSWERK has exhibited at 100% Design (Earls Court, London, 18 – 21 September 2013), using it to showcase the latest developments in hinge technology from the company’s own in-house R&D and manufacturing facilities. Visitors to the SIMONSWERK stand (number E 19) in the ECO Design & Build section of the exhibition will be able to see these new products plus one-to-one demonstrations of the SIMONSWERK online advanced PRODUCTSELECTOR information system for architects, ironmongers, specifiers, and interior designers. The system is available online now at simonswerk.co.uk
100% Design will be the first chance to see SIMONSWERK’s new TECTUS TE 526 & 527 3D fully concealed hinges for flush commercial doors. These hinges have now achieved fire testing certification to 60mins from Warrington Exova, the benchmark for products used in safety critical applications such as fire doors. These fire-rated TECTUS hinges will carry door weights up to 120kg and, as with all TECTUS hinges, are 3D adjustable, have an opening angle up to 180° and are maintenance free.
Products on show at 100% will include the increasingly popular CE marked TRITECH fire rated solid brass hinge with concealed bearings, 25 year performance guarantee and hinges with new PVD, corrosive resistant finishes. PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coated TRITECH hinges from SIMONSWERK can stand up to the most aggressive conditions and still maintain their original good looks. Their PVD coating is corrosion resistant, has high temperature resilience, good impact strength and excellent abrasion resistance.
