Garages are now entering the smart home era with a new range of electric operators from Garador that will automatically open and close your garage door from your smartphone. The new Series 4 GaraMatic operators, from leading UK garage door manufacturer Garador, include energy efficient LED lighting, a power-saving mode, smartphone and smart home connectivity.
The new electric operators haveenergy efficient LED lighting; with powerful and even illumination inside the garage. They have also been designed for energy saving and in standby mode, they consume less than 1-watt of electricity.

Garador’s new app BlueSecurapp is available for both android and ios smartphones, and offers full remote control of the garage door thanks to the operator’s built-in Bluetooth receiver. The door can be opened or closed; partially opened for ventilation and the operator light can all be controlled through the app for a 100 per cent electric garage door experience. The app is free to download from either Google Play or the App Store and if another person in the household also requires control, an addition user key for the app can be purchased. The garage door can also be voice controlled through Amazon’s Alexa or Google’s Home Hub thanks to an integral HCP-bus connection in the operator.
This smart functionality has been built into the new GaraMatic 10 and GaraMatic 20 operators.If required, the Bluetooth received can be switched on and off. The third model in the new Series 4, the GaraMatic 9, is not supplied with a Bluetooth receiver, but can be purchased as an option and fitted retrospectively.
For those who aren’t big on technology and still like a physical hand transmitter to control their garage door, Garador supply all of their new GaraMatic operators with a small and especially light weight 4 button hand transmitter.
