Houzz Inc., the leading platform for home renovation and design, introduces the Colour Picker tool in the UK, a tool that enables homeowners, home design enthusiasts and home professionals to identify corresponding Dulux mixed paint colours in any photo on Houzz and to find the colour combinations that could work for their projects. Beyond finding colours on walls, people can match Dulux colours to other elements in the photo, such as fabrics and floors.
“One of the most common questions we see in the discussions on Houzz is what colour was used in a design,” said Marcus Hartwall, managing director of Houzz UK. “As we’re always looking to make the home renovation and design experience more fun and productive, we’re delighted to partner with Dulux to help our community discover colours that could work for their projects.”
“This is a great partnership which gives consumers confidence to choose colour by using the simple Dulux Colour Picker tool and helps them finalise their room decoration”, said Nicki Foggoa, Colour Experience Manager at Dulux.
The Colour Picker tool enables people to:
- Select from up to five hot spots, marked as + signs on each photo, that can be moved to identify the closest matching Dulux paint colour.
- Match colours to any non-painted areas within a photo, beyond the classic match to colours on walls, such as hardwood floors, fabrics and furniture.
- Save the favourite paint palette to an ideabook to use as a reference during the home improvement project and easily share with family, friends and professionals.
- Easily order paint testers in any of the featured, or user selected colours, which Dulux will then deliver direct to the homeowners door for free.
To use Colour Picker, simply click the “Show Paint Colours” button on any photo on Houzz.
